So, normally, I'd be like, ohhh blog I've missed you.
But I haven't. One of my best friends who used to blog but has since stopped (sad face) and I had the following conversation the other day.
Her-"KNOCK KNOCK"
Me- "Ummm who's there?"
Her-"LIFE. So go live it bitch."
Me- "Hahahahaha...you're right."
I haven't been. I'm not going to go in to the why's and all of that stuff, I just haven't been. This weekend I did-there were family dinners, dates, It's Always Sunny Marathons, a guy who made me the best cookies ever before we watched 500 Days of Summer...a movie that touched me so deeply because I identify with Summer SO much it freaks me out. We also saw Daybreakers...I usually LOVE zombie/ vampire (ones who don't sparkle :)) movies but yeah...not for me. Whatever. He made me cookies at 11 the night before. I can sacrifice Leap Year.
Also? Exposing someone to Jersey Shore for the first time is one of the BEST.THINGS.EVER. I wish I caught his reaction on camera. It was priceless. I think everyone's first introduction to "Snooki" is a sacred thing, no? Amazing.
Along with the 20sb award came exposure to some of the coolest blogs I probably wouldn't have found otherwise. I am working on a post filled with blog love, new and old. I promise this is the last time I will say this...but I am sorry I've been lacking on the comments. On that note, I've had to get my head straight. I'm learning some lessons. I've looked in the mirror and in the eyes of people who actually know me. And sometimes life just trumps the blog.

I'm not commenting here to enter the giveaway, I'm not much into wearing women's clothes (although my wife likes to wear mine.) I think she may be one of your bazillion followers.
It does however concern me that I've gained an appreciation for women's shoes, and in some ways I can see the art in them. I'm getting more familiar with Louboutins, Lims, Jimmy Choos, Kirkwoods etc. which kind of scares the crap out of me. Although I have no desire to actually WEAR any of this stuff, so I think I've managed to retain my masculinity. Phew, close call.

500 Days of Summer was very good (interesting in a different way). I wasn't expecting it, so it was a nice surprise.

I JUST saw Jersey Shore for the first time this weekend! I wish someone took a picture of me watching it! ha. I had some high expectations though. I told my husband "I have been recording all these shows to watch because EVERYONE loves it"
ANd he asked "who is everyone?"
and I said< DUH, everyone in blog world and on FB!
He watched with me and laughed as much as I did (but he felt bad for the fight Sammie got her bf in on the boardwalk) and then he ADMITTED that he had SOMEHOW, SOMEWHERE seen this show before!
hmmm....
